Explosion at cracker unit causes panic

Pondicherry, Mar 26: An explosion in a cracker manufacturing unit here caused panic among residents of Nirnayapet in Bahour constituency here this morning.

Police said Krishnasamy, a resident of the area, used to make crackers in his house.

This morning the crackers stored in a cattle shed exploded causing shock among people.

Police rushed to the spot and are investigating.
