BJP to launch a movement for Telangana says Secretary

Hyderabad, Mar 26BJP national secretary Bandaru Dattatreya today (Mar 26, 2006) said the party was preparing an action plan to launch a movement for Telangana.

Addressing mediapersons here, Mr Dattatraya said the party would soon announce the plan which would be launched on its own.

Referrring to the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) senior leader and Union Minister A Narendra's statement that the TRS would join hands with the NDA, he said the BJP was not ready to join hands with the TRS for Telangana.

'The TRS, which was a coalition partner of the UPA government and the Congress, had cheated the people of Telangana by not implementing the promises made by both the parties during the elections, he charged.
