Azad to file nomination from Bhaderawah on April 5

Jammu, Mar 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will file his nomination paper on April 5 from Bhaderavah Assembly constituency of Doda district where by-election will be held on April 24.

According to sources filing of the nomination paper will start from March 30 for Bhaderwah as well as Rafiabad, Sangrama and Pattan Assembly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir. The candidates could file their nomination paper till April 7.

The power minister in Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government and Former MLA of Bhaderavah Mohammad Sharief Niaz, who vacated his seat for Mr Azad, today said in press conference that the Chief Minister would file his nomination paper on April 5.

Mr Naiz reiterated that the Chief Minister would not participate in election campaign adding that it would be a matter of pride for the people of Bhaderwah that the head of the state would represent them in the state Legislative Assembly.

''Azad has already announced to bring the Bhaderwah on the tourist map of the state and setting up a authority, which will look after the construction of roads and other basic facilities in the area,'' he added.

The Former Congress MLA claimed that Mr Azad will win the by-election with a record margin of votes.
