AIFB candidates list will be announced on Mar 29: Kartick

Chennai, Mar 26 (UNI) The list of candidates of the Tamil Nadu unit of the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) for the May 8 elections to the state assembly will be announced on March 29.

Informing this to reporters here today, Party President and film actor M Karthik said he had been receiving applications from the aspiring candidates for constesting in 111 assembly constituencies and the ongoing drill would be completed by tomorrow.

He said AIFB National Secretary Mr Biswas would be visiting here on March 28, and after holding discussion with him, the list of names of the contesting candidates would be announced on March 29.

Asked whether he would contest in the elections, Mr Karthick said as in a film it would be known in the climax.
