80 per cet of Goa ODI tickets sold out

Panaji, Mar 26 (UNI) Almost 80 per cent of the 12,050 tickets for the third one-Dayer between India and England at the Fatorda Stadium here on April 3 were sold out on the first day of the sale.

Syndicate Bank Regional Manager V J Kumar told UNI that all tickets of lower priced upto Rs 400 were sold out on the first day itself at all five branch outlets in Margao, Vasco, Panaji, Mapusa and Dhavlim-Ponda.

About 650 tickets of Rs 750 are remaining to be sold at Vasco, Mapusa and Panaji, while only 40 tickets of Rs 1000 are left to be sold at Vasco outlet and about 1100 tickets of Rs 2000 remained at Mapusa, Panaji and Vasco da Gama.

The remaining tickets are likely to be sold out by tomorrow, Mr Kumar added.

Mr Kumar said that out of the 12,050 tickets handed over to the Syndicate Bank by Goa Cricket Association (GCA), 1000 tickets are reserved for eligible schools at concessional rate of Rs 200 per child.
