Stirs against delay in setting up circuit bench

Dharwad, Karnataka, Mar 25 (UNI) Dharwad Bar Association President B D Hiremath today commenced a fast-unto-death stir in protest against the delay in setting up a circuit bench of the Karnataka High Court here, while as the Association members boycotted courts and resorted to a road blockade.

Association members blocked traffic for over an hour by burning tyres.

Earlier, addressing the agitators, Mr Hiremath took strong exception to the State Government not earmarking funds in the budget for setting up the circuit bench.
