Pondy Speaker shocked at Sonia's resignation

Pondicherry, Mar 25 (UNI) Pondicherry Speaker M D R Ramachandran has expressed shock over the resignation of Ms Sonia Gandhi from the Lok Sabha and also as the chairperson, National Advisory Council.

In a telegram to Ms Gandhi yesterday, he said she had again proved that the she was a unique personality who could relinquish higher positions to uplift the image of the Congress party and serve the country.
