Sonia has shown high morale values: Amarinder

Amritsar, Mar 24 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today said that the resignation of Congres President Sonia Gandhi from Parliament and Chairperson of National Advisory Committee (NAC) had demonstrated her high morale values, thereby upholding the principles of transparency and accountability.

''Every Congressman should welcome her daring step that would certainly strengthen the Party and send positive signals down the line to inculcate the spirit of value based politics,'' he said, talking to mediapersons here shortly after the departure of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The PM had come for flagging off the Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus.
