Rajasthan Assembly adjourned
Jaipur, Mar 24 (UNI) The Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha was adjourned today for an hour following pandemonium in the House over the issue of suspension of Congress legislator Raghubir Singh Meena.
As soon as Speaker Sumitra Singh came to take her seat to start with the House proceedings, the Opposition members started shouting slogans and sat on dharna IN the well of the House.
The speaker tried to arrange a debate over the notice of no-confidence motion against her. She called the name of the Opposition leader a number of times but nobody hread her in the din.
She then adjourned the House for an hour.
Congress legislator Meena was suspended from the current session of the Assembly after he failed to apologise to the Speaker for his objectionable behaviour in the House over the issue of atrocities against Christians in the state.
