Pergo launches design centre

Kolkata, Mar 24 (UNI) Pergo, a Swedish multinational and global leader in laminate flooring, today launched its exclusive design centre here to offer wooden laminate flooring for household and commercial property.

The company, which started operations in India in 1999, would offer international style laminate flooring with different applications like carpet and hard surface.

Pergo India CEO R Shivshankar told reporters that the company completed 10 million square feet of installation in Indian homes.

It has over 80 per cent market share in laminate flooring category.

Pergo, having presence in 32 countries, has reached break even and clocked a turnover of Rs 10 crore in India.

The company has a retail network of over 55 home improvement stores in 25 cities.
