Naidu cannot stop Telangana state: TRS chief
Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 24 (UNI) TRS Supremo and Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today said that even a thousand Chandrababu Naidus (former Chief Minister and TDP chief) could not prevent the formation of a separate Telangana state.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Rao said Telangana would be a reality by the end of the year and soon the TDP would have to vacate its office in Hyderabad.
Mr Rao claimed for the first time in 50 years, there was unprecedented response for the Telangana state. With BJP President Rajnath Singh expressing his party's support for the cause, the demand for statehood received had the backing of 184 MPs.
Except Mr Chandrababu Naidu, others had recognised the need for a separate state.
He challenged the TDP leaders who held padayatras demanding Godavari water for the Telangana region, to resign from the party and fight for the cause.
Similarly, Congress members from the Telangana region should resign from the party and join the fight for separate state.
