NABARD sanctions Rs 19.69 crore for irrigation projects

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 24 (UNI) The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Developmnent (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 19.69 crore to implement 106 minor irrigation projects in 12 districts and four drainage and flood protection projects in three districts in Kerala.

The projects are expected to generate 1,781 recurring jobs annually besides non-recurring employment of 8.06 lakh mandays, according to a NABARD press release.
