Kemboi leads Kenyan steeplechase sweep

MELBOURNE, Mar 24 (Reuters) Ezekiel Kemboi Yano led a Kenyan sweep of the medals in the men's 3,000 metres steeplechase at the Commonwealth Games today.

Kemboi Yano, the 23-year-old Olympic champion, clocked a time of eight minutes 18.17 seconds to lead home compatriots Wesley Kiprotich Koech (8:19.38) and Reuben Kosgei Seroney (8:19.82).

Kosgei Seroney was the 2000 Olympic champion.
