Ex-gratia relief sanctioned for 44 militancy victims
Srinagar, Mar 24: Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief in favour of militancy victims in the Srinagar district, an official spokesman said.
He said a meeting of District Level Screening Cum Coordination Committee was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon here today, to discuss the cases.
He said the meeting discussed 44-relief cases of victims of militancy in the district. However, only 41 cases have been approved, and an amount of Rs 20,91,000 sanctioned as ex-gratia.
