Bangalore, Mar 24 (UNI) Continuous Computing Corporation, a global provider of network service-ready platforms that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced the opening of a newly relocated Research and Development facility here.

The new facility enhanced the company's presence in the country and provided generous space for customer meetings, corporate events and future growth, the company said in a release here.

''Today's office inauguration illustrates our recent growth and sets the stage for our future success. We are committed to our operations in India and we expect to spend approximately US dollars ten million over the next three years. This new Bangalore facility will serve as Continuous Computing's flagship India location for Trillium protocol software development and is also our base for pre- and post-sales support for key India and Asia-based telecom equipment manufacturer customers,'' company Vice-President and Managing Director Pradeep Malhotra said.

With over 80 software and hardware employees, the company started its operations here in 2004. It had five other key strategic offices in Asia -- three in China and one each in South Korea and Japan.
