Congress activists burn Advani's effigy

Hyderabad, Mar 24 (UNI) The women's wing of the Congress and the Priyanka Rahul Gandhi Brigade today burnt the effigy of BJP leader L K Advani at two places in the city, protesting against his alleged disinformation campaign against AICC President Sonia Gandhi on the issue of holding office of profit.

The activists led by state women's wing president Ganga Bhavani, burnt the effigy for former Deputy Prime Minister in front of the Gandhi Bhavan, the state party headquarters this evening.

The activists raised slogans hailing Ms Gandhi for her ''supreme sacrifice'' and condemning the former BJP president.
