Agassi withdraws from Nasdaq-100 Open
MIAMI, Mar 24 (Reuters) Six times champion Andre Agassi withdrew from the Nasdaq-100 Open today shortly before his opening match against Belgium's Christophe Rochus, organisers said.
The 34-year-old eight times Grand Slam champion was to have played in only his fourth event of the season after missing the Australian Open in January with an ankle injury.
He was given a bye into the second round of the Miami tournament.
Agassi had complained of poor form after his second-round defeat to German Tommy Haas in Indian Wells earlier this month.
