Warrant against doctor in IGIMS scam

Patna, Mar 23 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna Ram Niwas Prasad today issued non-bailable arrest warrant against a doctor, presently in England, in a case related to misappropriation of fund in purchase of an Eximer laser machine at Patnas Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS).

A petition was filed before the special vigilance court of Patna by the Vigilance Bureau inter alia therein that Dr Mrinal Anand was accused in the case and his complicity was found during the investigation in the case.

It was also stated in the petition that Dr Anand was currently living in England.
