TVS Motor's overseas project to roll out in 2007-08

Jamshedpur, Mar 23 (UNI) Flagship two-wheeler producer TVS Motors Company's Indonesia project was scheduled to roll out by 2007-08, said company's regional manager Arun Chhabra.

Launching the company's new motor bike under the STAR category ''Star City Alloy Wheels'' here today, Mr Chhabra said the company had invested Rs 500 crore for the Indonesia project and the production would begin as per schedule.

He said, however, the company's another ambitious project in Himachal Pradesh would roll out during the financial year 2006-07.

Mr Chhabra said 150 cc Apachi motorbike would formally launch in the market soon.

He said turn over of TVS motors, one of the fast-growing companies among the TVS groups, was recorded more than 500 crore and market share had increased 15-20 per cent.
