Somnath cancells foreign visit

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, who was scheduled to leave on a visit to Vietnam and Sri Lanka tonight, has cancelled his tour.

The cancellation of his tour programmes came in the wake of political developments in the capital where Congress President Sonia Gandhi resigned her Lok Sabha seat as well as from the post of Chairperson of the National Advisory Council.
