Silver falls on weak global advice, gold steady

Mumbai, Mar 23 (UNI) Values of silver fell today on weak global advice while gold remained steady on moderate demand in the opening session, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade : Rs 14,679, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 7,980, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,020.
