Shoal of goals in Senior National Women's Hockey

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) It virtually rained goals with Delhi pounding Chandigarh 16-0, Bombay mauling Manipur 5-0 and Uttar Pradesh humiliating Kerala 6-0 in the 54th Senior Women's National Hockey here today.

In a completely one-sided match, Chandigarh proved no match at all for the marauding Delhi team which scored eight goals in each half to complete the humiliation for the Chandigarh side.

Pritam Siwach was the pick of the local side, scoring seven goals.

Meanwhile, Meenakshi and Ashrita Toppo scored a brace each as Uttar Pradesh blanked Kerala in another match.

In the third match of the day, Bombay led 4-0 at half time before scoring another goal in the second half to thrash Manipur 5-0.
