RBI cancels registration to Punjab Leasing

Mumbai, Mar 23 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the certificate of registration granted to Punjab Leasing for carrying on business of a non-banking financial institution, a RBI release issued here today said.

The cancelletion is with effect from March six. The action follows the company's decision to opt for an exit from the business of non-banking financial institution, the release added.
