Pune, Mar 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Kashmir and in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Orissa, southwest Rajasthan, Gujarat and north Konkan.

They were markedly below normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, appreciably below normal in Sikkim, some parts of Haryana and were below normal in some parts of Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and in remaining parts of Haryana.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Bihar, Marathwada, Vidarbha and were below normal in north Orissa, south coastal Tamil Nadu, in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and in remaining parts of Vidarbha.

They were markedly above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Punjab, gujarat and were above normal in south Orissa, in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Kashmir, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and in remaining parts of west Rajastthan.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rain are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
