Qualcomm to hold CDMA workshop in Bangalore
Bangalore, Mar 23 (UNI) QUALCOMM Incorporated, a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, today announced a two-day CDMA workshop, to be held here from March 31.
The workshop, held in association with the Bangalore Chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), aimed at helping students get a better understanding of the advantages of CDMA and its potential to improve communication, a company release here said.
The workshop would cover a broad range of topics such as trends in CDMA2000 technology, operating packet data services on CDMA2000, MediaFLO system and OFDMA-based mobile systems.
In addition to the CDMA workshop, the company was also engaged in a variety of academic initiatives with established institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and IIT, Chennai. The company was also actively exploring scholarship funding options, the release added.
