Police arrests three smugglers of illicit liquor

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) Police today arrested three smugglers and recovered over 3,800 quarters of illicit liquor in south west Delhi.

Surjeet Kumar (24), Naveen (23) and Jitender Kumar (20) were arrested near the Metro Workshop in Dwarka. Police also seized their car, a TATA Sumo, in which they were ferrying the liquor.

During interrogation, they revealed that they used to purchase the liquor from Bahadurgarh (Haryana) and supply it to various jhuggi clusters in Delhi.
