One dead, six injured in North Kashmir accident

Srinagar, Mar 23 (UNI) One person was killed and six others were injured in road accidents in north Kashmir today, official sources said.

They said one Abdul Rashid died on the spot when a speedy vehicle hit him at Pehroo Handwara in the frontier district of Kupwara today.

Six persons were wounded critically when a vehicle collided head long with a Sumo coming at Puthkhai on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway.

The injured were rushed to Srinagar hospitals in a critical condition, sources said.
