Nizam case posted to Mar 27

Hyderabad, Mar 23 (UNI) The Hyderabad Family Court dealing with the divorce settlement case of Nizam VIII Mukarram Jah's third wife and former Miss Turkey Manolya Onur seeking the Chiran palace as alimony, has posted the case to March 27.

On March 20, the contentious terms of case came up before the family courts here. The judge then posted the case to March 23 for lack of documents.

Today, the court took note of the documents presented before the judge who posted the case to March 27 on the request of the Nizam's counsel to examine the 'victim.' Mukarram Jah (58) married Manolya (36) in 1989 in Hyderabad.

Manolya claimed to have lived in Chiran Palace here for sometime after her marriage.

The Nizam entered into divorce settlement agreement in Geneva in mid 1990s. The triple talaaq was pronounced over the phone after he married a 22-year-old Moroccan.

Chiran Palace was built by the Nizam on 400 acre of land. Over the years, most of the land was taken over by the Forest Department and converted into a national park.

Now, the opulent palace is located right in the Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park in Jubilee Hills.
