Patna, Mar 23 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today demanded an all party meeting on the issue of office of profit.

Reacting to Congress president Sonia Gandhi's announcement of her resignation as a Lok Sabha member and Chairperson of the National Advisory Council (NAC), Mr Kumar refused to accept that Ms Gandhi made any sacrifice by resigning as a Lok Sabha member or NAC's chairperson.

Mr Kumar told newspersons that it was just the natural corollary of the Jaya Bacchan episode.

He said problems had really increased for such MPs, who were holding offices of profit.

To a query on the possibliity of mid-term poll in the country following the latest development, Mr Kumar remarked, '' When we have earthquake, we should expect for the aftershocks also. '' UNI DH SJC AB 2034
