MLAs advice to get priority in determing land price
Bhopal, Mar 23 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government today told the assembly that advice of legislators will be given priority in determining price of land for registration.
Commercial Tax Minister Babulal Gaur made the announcement on Speaker Ishwardas Rohani's direction during question hour.
Pointing out that the price fixation committee had a provision for including public representatives, Mr Rohani said a meeting of legislators was never called.
The Speaker said the government must ensure that legislators met at least once a year and their advice was taken into consideration.
As Mr Mahendra Hardia raised the matter during question hour, Mr Gaur said up to now the Collector had been determining price and advices of Janpad presidents were given priority.
