MAK to organise Cochin Speed Tyres Autocross on Mar 26

Kochi, Mar 23 (UNI) Nearly 20 entries have been received for the Cochin Speed Tyres Autocross being organised by the Motorsports Association of Kerala (MAK) at the Cochin International airport on March 26.

Talking to newspersons here yesterday MAK President Jacob Elias said the association would enhance safety on the streets. The race will be held on a 1.4 km stretch at the cargo complex areas of the airport.

Mr Elias said the race would be open to anyone holding a valid driving license and a car. A separate category for women drivers would also be held, he added.

The race, sponsored by Speed Tyres, would begin at 0730 hrs at Nedumbasser airport, he added.
