Hyderabad, Mar 23 (UNI) Beginning March 26, Lufthansa German Airlines will operate daily non-stop flights between Hyderabad and Frankfurt.

The daily service offering enhanced connectivity to Europe and the US, will provide customers with more options and flexibility in their travel plans, Lufthansa General Manager and Director South Asia Werner Heesen told the media here.

With the additional flights, the total number of weekly flights operated by Lutthansa between India and Germany will increase to 42.

The airlines had introduced 'FlyNet' on the Hyderabad-Frankfurt sector to enable passengers to access high-speed wirless internet while flying 32,000 ft above sea level and 'PrivateBed,' the newly designed exclusive business class seat to augment the in-flight experience in the sector, Mr Heesen said.

The airlines will offer special fares on the Hyderabad-Frankfurt sector until April 30 to mark the launch.

''Lufthansa's services on the Hyderabad-Frankfurt sector have been very well received since their launch in February last year. The high seat load factor on this route has been the key reason for us to more than double our capacity on the sector.

Being cyber-city and the biotech hub of India, Hyderabad is a growing business centre,'' he said.

Lufthansa planned to increase flights to 46 in the next winter schedule with a re-look at the western sector where it had presence only at Mumbai.

They would also revisit Kolkata from where the airlines launched its operations in India in 1959.
