K'taka to set up urdu anganwadis
Bangalore, Mar 23 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today informed the Legislative Council today that a proposal had been sent to the Centre seeking setting up Urdu Anganwadis in the state.
Replying to a query from Mr Khazi Arshad Ali (Congress) during the question hour, Mr Kumaraswamy said the state government was awaiting a reply from the Centre in this regard.
He said that at present there were 40,301 anganwadis in the state with Kannada as the medium of instruction.
