Jail-breaker arrested

Itanagar, Mar 23 (UNI) In a prized catch, Arunachal Police yesterday nabbed most wanted Gungte Tagung, police said today.

Tagung, the mastermind behind Public Works Department division dacoity, had escaped from the Itanagar police lock-up on the intervening night of February 20 last, making a mockery of the guards on duty.

Acting on a tip-off, Papum Pare district police led by Police Superintendent Chuku Appa apprehended the culprit from Hoz near Doimukh, police said.
