Five of family commit suicide

Shivpuri MP, Mar 23 (UNI) Poverty forced a widow to commit suicide, along with her four daughters, by jumping into a well near this district's Niboda village, police said.

Geeta Lodhi took the extreme step last evening. Along with her daughter deceased were Puja (6), Jyoti (8), Falli (10) and Varsha (12). The corpses were fished out and sent for postmortem today.

The woman's husband Brikhbhan Lodhi died two years back.
