DRDL to export missiles to other countries : Director

Hyderabad, Mar 23 (UNI) The Defence Research and Development Laboratories (DRDL) is planning to sell missiles to developing countries, its Director P Venugopalan said today.

Speaking at the valedictory function of the 'National Technical Festival' organised by the M V Subba Rao Engineering college here, he said the officials of the DRDL were holding discussions with the countries to get orders for missile sales.

Lamenting that the present engineering graduates were not interested in joining defence research and development activities and joining the lucarative jobs offered by the corporate companies in the field of marketing and financial services, he said the DRDL was also offering job opportunities in research to engineering graduates.

On the occasion, Mr Venugopalan presented awards to the students, who excelled in their studies.
