Draw for allotment of 10,701 DDA flats held

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority today held a draw for allotment of 10,701 flats, including LIG and Janata flats.

Of the 9,232 LIG flats, 6,924 were allotted under the 'NPRS-79 Scheme' and another 2,308 under the 'Ambedkar Awas Yojana-89', as per priority list of registration.

On the other hand, all of the 1,469 Janata flats were done under the Janata Housing Registration Scheme-96.

Demand-cum-allotment letters of the flats would beissued in due course, the DDA said.

A backlog of 2,462 registrants still existed, it added.
