Kolkata, Mar 23: Former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya will go to Mumbai on March 27 to face interrogation by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in compliance with the Bombay High Court orders.

Sources close to Mr Dalmiya told UNI, ''Mr Dalmiya will visit Mumbai on March 27 and be there till March 31 to help in the investigation of the EOW officers. He will be interrogated by Mumbai police between 11 am and 5 pm on each of the three days.'' Thereafter he will return here and the EOW officers will visit the city in the first week of April to complete the investigation.

Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court today extended the interim protection granted to Mr Dalmiya and three former office bearers of the BCCI till April 10.

They are named in a case of alleged misappropriation of Rs 21.74 lakh from the World Cup 1996 account.

Deferring their anticipatory bail plea till April 10, Justice V M Kanade ordered Mr Dalmiya and others to attend the inquiry being conducted by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in Mumbai and concerned authorities in Kolkata.
