Dalmiya replies to showcause notice

Kolkata, Mar 23 (UNI) Former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya today sent a 16-page reply to the showcause notice served on him by BCCI alleging misappropriation of PILCOM account funds.

Sources close to Mr Dalmiya told UNI, ''Though tomorrow was the deadline we have sent a 16-page reply to the showcause notice to BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah.'' The sources also said that an enclosure of seven pages was also given as document along with the reply.

The reply was necessitated after a division bench of High Court directed Mr Dalmiya to reply to the showcause notice by March 24.
