CRPF announce cash awards for Games medal winners

New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General Jyoti Kumar Sinha today announced a cash reward of Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 75,000 for gold and silver medal winners from his force in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Announcing this here, Mr Sinha said the force would provide every possible facility to the sportpersons to help them bring laurels for the country in the 2010 Delhi Games.

CRPF personnel Kunjarani Devi (gold), Geeta Rani (gold) and Monica Devi (silver) have won medals in different categories in weightlifting, whereas Seema Antil bagged a silver medal in discus throw.
