Contempt notice to govt

Jabalpur, Mar 23 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a contempt notice to the state government in the wake of an image of Jain saint Bade Baba being shifted from a centuries-old temple at the pilgrim spot Kundalpur, in Damoh district, to a new shrine in violation of a court order.

After hearing an ASI plea, Justice K K Lahoti issued notices to Damoh's collector, SP and Kundalpur's managing trustee.

Replies are to be submitted within four weeks.
