Bihar Congress greets Sonia

Patna, Mar 23 (UNI) Bihar Congress today greeted party president Ms Sonia Gandhi for announcing her resignation as a Lok Sabha member and Chairperson of the National Advisory Council (NAC) following complaints seeking her disqualification for holding an office of profit.

State Congress chief spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra said Ms Gandhi had once again proved herself as a person who transgressed boundaries of 'lust for power' and 'self aggrandisement'.

'' Ms Gandhi's sacrifice had re-established the fact that the Congress president had a high respect for the democratic values,'' he added.
