Aventis Pharma announces Q4

Mumbai, Mar 23 (UNI) Aventis Pharmaceuticals has posted a net profit of Rs 376 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, as compared to Rs 406 million for the corresponding quarter in 2004.

Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 2041 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2004, to Rs 2039 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 1,451 million for the year ended December 31, 2005, as compared to Rs 1,485 million for the year ended December 31, 2004. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 7,568 million to Rs 8,373 million.

The Board has recommended a final dividend of 125 per cent. An interim dividend of 35 per cent had been paid in August, 2005, a company release here said.
