Attempt on life of SP in Bihar

Munger, Mar 23 (UNI) Munger Police Superintendent Ravindra Shankeran today escaped unhurt after criminals attacked his vehicle at Madhopur mohalla under Kotwali police station area here today.

District Magistrate of Munger K Senthil Kumar told UNI here that Mr Shankeran was attacked while returning from a visit to a school.

However, he did not sustain any injury in the attack, he added.

Mr Kumar said a panel of doctors was examining him at a local Sadar Hospital.

An intensive search operation was on to nab the culprits.
