Arstists seek relaxation of model code

Pondicherry,Mar 23(UNI) The 'weak artists association'in Pondicherry today took exception to strict implementation of the model code of conduct.

In a statement here association President Jayaraman said that already their business was being affected badly because of computers,plastic stickers and digital banners.

Weak artists were depending on the works they get during the elections once in five years.

The model code restricting the wall writings was now affecting them severaly,he said and added the election department as well as the government should come to their rescue.
