Armed men loot Rs 4.42 lakh from bank

Kanpur, Mar 23 (UNI) Several armed miscreants today raided the Lavkush Branch of Kshetriya Gramin Bank under Bithoor area here and decamped with Rs 4.42 lakh in cash, police said.

The incident occured yesterday when the criminals entered the bank on the pretext of depositing money and then robbed Rs 4.42 lakh on the gunpoint.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits, police added.
