Approval given for seting up IRB in Haryana, says Hooda
Chandigarh, Mar 23 (UNI) The Central Government has given its approval for establishing Indian Reserve Battalion in Haryana, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said today.
Addressing mediapersons at the press gallery of the Vidhan Sabha here, he said that steps were being taken for strengthening and modernising the state police force to meet the modern day challenges.
The Chief Minister said that 4,000 posts of constables were being filled and the retrenched employees of Haryana Industrial Security Force (HISF) would be given relaxation in age for recruitment.
