AP CM launches CII SME Cluster Project
Hyderabad, Mar 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy last night launched the Confederation of Indian Industry-Andhra Pradesh Chapter's Small and Medium Enterpirses cluster here, taking inspiration from CII-AIEMA SME Cluster at Ambattur, Chennai.
The CII-AP Chairman M K Patodia said under this project, CII supported clusters of companies for improving their productivity and costs. The three key deliverables of this project were Energy Management, Cost and Quality Management.
He said when efficiency and quality in a small unit are institutionalised, it was not just the small-scale industry that benefited, but also the larger one that depended on them for inputs.
Mr Patodia said apart from CII Counsellors, the Industry also avails the services of empanelled Consultants for various projects.
The member companies derive benefits from better accessibility and business linkages through Cluster network, he added.
