2 villagers killed in road accident

Bhadohi, Mar 23 (UNI) Two villagers were killed and about 12 bus passengers injured when the speeding vehicle rammed into a dwelling in Kuraina hamlet here today.

Police said the private bus was coming from Varanasi when the mishap occurred, about 36 kms from the district headquarters.

The bus driver apparently lost control while trying to overtake another vehicle, police added.

Those killed were the occupants of the house.

The injured passengers had been admitted to hospital.

Later, irate villagers damaged the bus.
