Noida to have a new golf course
Noida, Mar 22 (UNI) Noida is set to have one more Golf Course shortly.
The new Golf Course is proposed to be develop at Sector 101, the official said.
Since the present Golf club situated at Sector 38 could not accommodate new members, the NOIDA Authority has opted to go for a second one, Noida Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Saran said. The present Golf Course has a membership of more than double the capacity fixed originally, he said. A huge number of people had applied for membership, but they are all waitlisted because of the capacity constraint, he said.
Even though the recently approved Noida budget does not include funds for the development of the proposed Golf Course, the funds will be raised through membership fee fixed at Rs 2 lakh per member, Mr Saran said. The Authority requires Rs 37 crore for the development of the new Golf Course, Mr Saran said.
